Whatsup!!
Continuing my journey story in God Island Bali, I then moved to city area which is Legian.
Legian is a beachfront town in South Bali, it is where the
shops, bars, cafes and restaurants are walking distance. This area is less
chaotic than the infamous Kuta, world famous hence could be very packed, and
the less pricy area of Seminyak area.
Radisson Bali Legian Camakila hotel at Legian was recently
taken over from previously known as Ramada Camakila. The modest hotel boasts
two main swimming pools and three dining places that provide appetizing meals
for its 103 deluxe rooms, 11 deluxe poolside rooms and two suites hotel guests.
This hotel is the right hotel for you if you want to join
the more hustle and bustle part of the island.

Radisson Bali
Legian Camakila hotel has direct access to the beach and the hotel is filled
with friendly and welcoming staffs with impeccable cleanliness that is highly
maintained. The main swimming pool and one of the restaurant is smack right in
the middle of the property where guests are encouraged to chill and mingle and
when hunger strikes there is food available at one’s beck and call.
The deluxe pool
access room was a nice 36 meter square room area with a comfortable king sized
bed and a door away from the main swimming pool. The room is highly recommended
for parents with kids for the convenience of being able to relax and watch TV
while keeping a close watch of the children playing and swimming at the main
pool.
The room is
spacious and neat, and there is a sofa bed for extra lounging and all around
WIFI access at the room. The bathroom completes with a bathtub/shower and
marble top sink that is equipped with hair dryer and toiletries.

The spa area,
another swimming pool and the dining place called TAO restaurant has the best
view of the Legian beach, they are located at the back of the hotel, it is
perfect place to spend the day while overlooking the beach.
Evening came and
I made my way to the TAO restaurant where it offers a wide variety of food;
from Italian, Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai, Indonesian to Western. With a rumbling
tummy, I decided to order every meal from every country that was represented. Then
came the epic dishes; the Thai beef salad, Vietnamese spring rolls, pizza,
chilly calamari and sweet tangy sauce marinated pork with rice and it was not
disappointing.

The pizza is
cheesy enough with superb amount of toppings and the dough was in the good
range of perfect thickness, just how I like my pizza. The salad comes with
fresh vegetables and completed with tender marinated beef that balance the
sourness of the Thai sauce. The Vietnamese rolls were rolled in a good bite
sized that filled with fresh lettuce, sliced carrot and cucumber with a fish dipping
sauce that was surprisingly delicious. All in all I had a very satisfactory meal.

After a good
night rest, morning came and it was the end of my stay. Saddened that it had to
end but breakfast came and it distracted my mood. Breakfast was served at Azaa
dining area that has two floors and it accommodates up to 50 guests. The
offered wide variety of food does please the hunger in me. From the bread
selections, Asian cuisine, and an egg station that caters to your specific kind
of eggs you want in the morning to fresh beverages.

Breakfast time.. It is so packed |
The service given
on that particular day was impressive, I could spot some waiters in training
but they gave they all and service was on point. Being that the breakfast area
was close to my room, I pampered myself one last time by having a quiet and
quaint breakfast in bed.

I had a wonderful
time at this hotel though it was short yet it was definitely sweet. I would
definitely make a second visit, or more, to this hotel to spend time at the
beach and conveniently walking distance to the hip and happening eating-places
around the area.
